I emailed him the other day (which is what I should have done before making this thread, seeing as how the contact info came with the pack and all).
When asked why he hadn't done this yet for the TNT music, he said:
"No one seems to have contact to the composers, nor does anyone know what hardware they used to compose those. The tracks were made with the intend to sound exactly like the composer created them, but without that information, this isn't possible. Also, it was a common opinion, that those don't sound that great on a Soundcanvas as the original tracks do."
It seems he's willing to do SOMETHING similar for the TNT tracks, if you were to hire him (I think?).
http://www.abmischung.de/ANYWAY. Do any of you know where to find decent renditions of the TNT music? I'm not looking for the midis. I'm looking for something like this LogicDeluxe guy did... remasters on pro equipment. Or at least recordings of the midis played on good sound hardware (not mine, hehe), or something. Isn't that how it works?
The only ones I can find are the MP3s at Doom Depot. And whatever soundfont the guy used for the midis when he converted them, or whatever, sounds FUCKING HORRIBLE for the most part. Sigh.
