Manifest files define Snowberry metadata for resource packs that don't contain any metadata of their own. Addon metadata contains information about the addon (e.g., name, version, and author) and includes instructions about how the addon is to be loaded. A manifest may also define new configuration settings that will appear in Snowberry on the appropriate Addon settings tab.
